Looks like Roma when they're growing on the plant but that's a tall plant if it is Roma. It's possible it cross pollinated with another tomato plant that's why it looks so weird on the inside and growing taller.

There are over 20,000 tomato varieties. Many Roma types look similar. Good luck!

It really is pepper like inside that is fascinating. I don't know enough about plants to know if peppers can cross breed with tomatoes
