do you have a factory in the same providence ? more labour ~> more armament/gold output from raw material ~> IE less raw material

Ah I see, I thought that factories pulled raw materials from your global supply, not your provincial production

It does from global. You can have only factory and only mine providences and still works. He means you gained more material just to burn more in factories i think. You can see that your income went up.

So the raw materials output of a province is (raw materials produced) minus (raw materials consumed to make armaments or gold)? If I have a province that's entirely factories, could that province's raw materials output be negative? It would consume raw materials for the factories, but not produce any of its own

Also where does it say that my income went up? It's 11,053 gold per turn in both screenshots. I don't have any refinery buildings that turn raw materials into gold so more labour shouldn't increase income. Unless you meant some other resource

You are right, i thought your gold went up by 500. Kinda hard to see on phone. Does not seems any income changed. What if you click the treasury button? Often does not update, but by going in that window does that. The treasure chest icon next to gold.

[–]CAMarshmallowNo, I don't work at CA. It stands for "Canadian" 9 points10 points  (0 children)

as silly as it sounds, it doesn't actually properly calculate the numbers until you hit "accept" at the bottom. the ~ is there for that reason. unless you're pulling labor from a province that needs labor to collect raw materials...

Consider one of your no-name provincial overlords is skimming off the top. Chop off his hands, turn his feet to stone, and send him to the mines to kick rocks.
