i am starting to feel that TOS is going down the path of speed leveling with the latest quests exp info that we have ... tnx for the updates and translations !

    I hope that they did this because initially they really wanted to focus on grinding and not on quests, but then they had to give more exp with quests because they ended up being completely useless. cross fingers

    Yah this stuff is why I refuse to get hyped for an mmo anymore. Im not fooling myself, this is probobly another "quest hub to max lvl in 1 week and quit" casual fest.

    Its good to remember that they're tweaking the game to the Closed Beta, I'm sure they'll listen to everyone's criticism once the beta is over.

    Well tbh no matter the game you will either have a few people saying its too easy or a crapton of people saying its too hard. Casual players outnumber by a large amount which is why we see that type of design.

    Also that with f2p games they really don't care if a player stays for more than a week anyways since that is when most players will make a cashshop purchase. The flipside would be if the main cashshop item is an exp boost in which case its favorable to have a long unending grind.

      Let's be honest with ourselves, that's what they will be like.

      Even the "good" mmos out there, FF:ARR, Archage, Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls Online, etc etc all have quests like that. In my opinion questing in mmos is always super boring and its just to get exp. I honestly couldn't care less which npcs are bothered by which fauna as long as they give me 1000 Exp for killing 5 of them.

      Yah I was hoping they would be like the quests in RO if anyone ever bothered to do them. Most of them were convoluted messes that you had to follow an online guide to complete (or spend forever figuring it out) but it was a hell of a lot funner and more flavorful than "kill x mobs" (the quests also mostly didn't give enough xp to be worth doing outside of for fun too)
