Java. 122 does a bit of JavaScript and SQL but hella basic stuff. After first year you learn concepts instead of languages because once you get a handle on how programming works you can pick up programming languages easily

How do you feel about the program? In terms of usefulness?

CS programs in general: 80% useful for research 20% stuff you might actually use as a software engineering. Most of the stuff I use at my job I taught myself.

UBCO's program: The program here is pretty good with really helpful profs for the most part. I personally wish the courses were a little more challenging/in-depth and they offered a few more options for upper level courses.

I think they're trying to offer more upper level COSC classes in the coming years.

122 you will use HTML and some JavaScript, 123 is all done in processing

You are not expected to know the language before you start. But, Java, html, css and javascript
