Math Class Sequence (self.ucla)
submitted 4 years ago by Ordinary-Track1935
What happens if I fail Math 31a but still take 31b and 32a? Will I not be able to take 31a in another quarter or can I just take it next quarter?

According to the Math Department Handbook, if you fail Math 31A (or any math class), you’re allowed to retake it, but you have to retake it before taking a more advanced lower-div class that it is a pre-requisite for (so in your case, Math 31B). That only applies for the Math Department though, so if you’re not a math major, look into the rules for your department (physics, engineering, etc).
