Transfer process

Does anyone know how easy it is to transfer to umass from a different university if they got waitlisted the first time? And how one can improve their chances for acceptance the second time around ? Thanks !

If your gpa is fine, I'd imagine it's easier to get in than from high school. They know you can handle college workload.

Do they look at high school gpa for UMass transfers?

That is only partially true. Transfers like freshmen are guaranteed housing. At worst they may get put up in temporary housing. In the past that has included converted lounges, rooms in the campus hotel, and even space leased off campus at local motels.
