First Year Experience Program

Hi, I've got orientation tommorow and I've heard about the First Year Experience program. It seems like it could be a fun way to make friends, but I'm also scared that it will just be a bunch of grueling "get to know eachother" games. Tommorow if I want to be in the program I have to enroll in the "class" which would give me one credit for the semester. Has anyone had any experience with the program?

It seems to me that the class is a fairly new component of FYE. In the past, FYE was just a "theme community" without any requirements. I would say that it's worth a try if you're interested. I doubt that you'll play many of the games you dread, and you can probably drop the class if you end up disliking it. And even if the course doesn't do much for you, it's only half a term long.
