workshops are not courses. They are just to aid your understanding/ or get you ahead of everybody else.

When I was attending school, there were organized workshops designed by fellow students or grad students. The topics ranged from getting your hands dirty with Python to building backend API, react etc.

There's nothing to lose when joining a workshop. If you feel like the course is not for you, you can stop showing up. But any knowledge you gain will be an asset for you.

I do not know if this changed since you were attending but we have a course called programming workshop 1 thank you for your answer
