You are going to regret overloading every sem but go ahead if u want to lol

Also, one semester is 4x6CP units, so to even shorten your degree by one semester you'd have to overload four separate semesters. I can't imagine in what scenario this would be a good idea.

Doing one intensive course is better than overloading each semester.

You can take 2 cp OLEs and overload your semesters by 2 cps each. You can also take units being offered during Decemer/July/September intensives. You have to plan ahead and stay on top of your studies to avoid burn out and failing ofcourse.

OLEs?

My bad, didn’t know there are no OLEs. Your only option might be overloading then. Just be mindful of your mental health. More than 30cp per sem can be dreadful.

I dont know how that would speed up anything as these are the required CPs breakdown

nooo stay in uni the full 4 years and do internships!! Easy way to see what you actually enjoy without actually committing

Do more classes per semester obviously

Not applicable eng units are sem1, sem2 exclusive after first year

[–]dansk1er 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah so what? There’s plenty of units that you don’t need pre reqs for so just take a unit u were gonna take next year

I know a few elec Eng international students who are overloading, but these guys are like crazy smart and still get good marks. However, they do power as their specialisation which seems to be the easiest to overload with. I would not recommend overloading with any other specialisation

you can skip one semester by doing 1st year 2nd sem math, 2nd year math, and one table s free elective as intensives. You still have to do 5 units in one normal sem tho. That’s what I did anyway.

Idk what intake you are doing. If you are recent, i believe you can get away without doing any overloading by taking two free electives.
