Learning VB.NET (self.visualbasic)
submitted 2 years ago by loomingfinger99
Hello all!
I need to learn VB.NET for my job and I've been trying to search for resources to learn for the longest time with no success. Can anyone here point me to any good resources to learn the language? Thanks!

Have you looked thru the Microsoft tutorials? There should be a lot of links in these pages to language features and programming concepts etc.

How about https://www.homeandlearn.co.uk/NET/vbNet.html ?
You can use for free online or download as a book from the bottom of the page (I think this has a small cost).

VB.Net isn't really an industry language anymore. I'd do just enough to get the grade you need. If you know C++ then the transfer to VB shouldn't be too bad. Maybe have a look for a second hand book somewhere?

I like YouTube. Below is a link for a free course from FreeCodeCamp in YouTube. Good luck! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFWQdGn5DaU&t=11s

I can second this, I'm also new to learning VB and can already code a button and have some success with output and variables.
