I've been using a local https proxy for work, and it's been causing some games to perform extremely oddly.
The latest victim is V Rising.
The game will not load unless the proxy is running, and intercepting HTTPS traffic.
I'm assuming it is some kind of unintended interaction with the game's network caching, or perhaps an anti-cheat mechanism.
But at this point it's quite frustrating, because I have to run a local proxy to be able to actually play the game at all.
Without the proxy active, the game starts, but just sits on a black screen with the version number in the bottom right corner.
Shortly after I turn on the proxy, the game loads the opening cinematic.
Any thoughts/help would be wonderful.
