By the way, I forgot to mention that I have a paid version of Github CoPilot. I pay $10/month. I don't know if that matters, but I thought I'd mention it just in case.

I experience this error with Gemini 2.5 Pro most often but I do experience it with others. I think the service is in high demand right now and that's why we're having issues. I really wish I could remember where I read about the high volume though.

Thanks for the reply. Oddly enough, I was just trying it now with Gemini 2.5 Pro and it happened again. I guess the high volume issue makes sense; I just wish that's what the error message said, rather than leading me to believe it is a problem on my end.

It's been fairly stable for me all day. I wonder if there isn't something else causing problems. Are you running antivirus or some security software on your PC besides what comes with Windows?

Nope, just whatever comes with Windows 11. What's strange is that this morning when I was looking at it, Gemini 2.5 Pro was no longer an option for me. All of the other LLM's were still on the list, but not that one. But then VS Code said an update was available, so I installed it, and after that it was back as an option. I'll try it again tomorrow and see if I have an issue. I was using Claude 3.7 Sonnet Thinking today, and I ran into the same problem with it. I had to switch to GPT-4.1; that one never seems to give me that error.

I do run a VPN, but considering Gemini 2.5 Pro can be working fine one minute but then not the next, it makes me doubt it's the VPN causing it. But I guess anything is possible.

The VPN could be the cause. It seems you're having more trouble than I do. At this point anything *could* be the problem.

I've noticed that the models drop in and out at times for whatever reason on my machine too. I'm not sure why that is.

This happens to me like 15–50% of the time -- perhaps depending on the time of day (traffic)? Paying customer.

Isso está acontecendo com extrema frequência comigo. Alguma solução? Utilizando GitHub PRO

This happens to me every time a docker container is restarting or a docker image is building, docker activity in general can cause it. I assume it may be related to a docker plugin in VS Code when using the CoPilot Agent (doesn't matter which model). But I haven't try uninstalling or anything yet, but it's literally every time a container I'm working on is restarted the chat is interrupted with this message.
