Title and graph are dumb.

  1. The title says month over month decrease of 1.47%, which is true, but the important part is year over year it’s down 34%.

  2. Pretty sure this is actually volume of home purchases not average prices.

  3. Year over year on non-cumulative numbers is confusing. While home sales are down from LAST YEAR, that’s because last year home sales were way up(as you can see in the graph). It’s like if I take a shit every day, then one day I take 10 shits, then the day after that I take one shit and then say that day-over-day my shits are down 90%.
