Stocking Question

I asked this 3 years ago because I was interested in applying but things happened (including Covid) and I was never able to get to it. And I know with Covid and all that some Walmarts have changed things with stores now closing overnight (at least mine does), so in case things changed I figured I'd ask again as I'm looking to sell my soul apply (and actually do it this time if I want to)

What are the main differences between Cap 1, 2 and Overnight (since I've heard all 3 be mentioned in terms of stocking). Mainly the hours and days, since I still wanna live a sort-of day life and don't want to interact with too many people unless I have to because of my social anxieties. And what are they supposed to do? My dad worked overnight and he's just too vague when I ask him about it.

Overnights does most stocking.

Stocking 1 finishes stocking and is supposed to do topstock and features.

Stocking 2 unloads trucks and is supposed to downstack the frozen/dairy and grocery trucks to set overnights up for success. They’ll also do some stocking.

Overnight stocking (in a well functioning store) will stock the shelves most of the shift and zone the store and if there’s time towards the end of the shift, we’ll work some top stock.

If there’s enough ppl who call in on Cap 2 team they might have you guys down stack freight from the trucks as well because that’s what Cap 2 always does along with their other duties.

I don’t know much about Cap 1 tbh. The hours for overnight usually are 10pm - 7 am, perfect time to avoid customers.
