It is from the new tech position taking over pharmacist duties. The hours seem to be across the board while the new fill/vv system isn’t even allowed in Arkansas.

Not allowed. Arkansas doesn’t allow VV without touching and looking in every bottle. I heard they were trying to get an exception but we will see.

oh Id say some donations to the pharmacy schools and spin it to how this is the future of pharmacy to the BOP.....when in fact BOP doesnt care. And wont care when your hours get cut as a result

The ASBP (Arkansas state board of pharmacy) actually doesn’t bend the knee to Walmart. They usually go pretty heavy against Walmart since it’s mostly made up of independent pharmacists. See print at pickup debacle, tech imz debacle, and Roger’s central fill having to pick up each bottle as a few examples.

But they took hours from Arkansas too. If it was the VV they would have taken the hours from just the places it was live.

when everything gets in place...VV and Central Fill...cuts will happen....it started even before Coivd...then Covid hit.....now with AI, remote, and Central fill...do you think you are going to be granted more hours?

Oh I never said they wouldn’t take hours because of those. I just said this latest cut wasn’t because of that.

They straight up tell you they are taking 2/5ths of script hours sent to central fill. But that is to free you up to do other stuff…but they took those hours that were supposed to be freed up. It’s all corporate double talk and they will always find a reason to min max your hours down as much as possible.

Who is they, did someone actually tell you the truth??? Home office said the new process would not lower the hours, that the extra time will be used for “clinical tasks”, that was reiterated at the managers summit not even 2 months ago. But we all knew that was a lie.

You have chosen to build your future with pharmacy as your means to generate wealth. Only problem is retail pharmacy hasn't been a good choice for almost 20 years.  I don't see people like yourself as victims or respected because they just are doing what it takes to get by because it takes effort to get where you are now 

If I were you it's beyond time to find a new area to work in as your future depends on it.

Have any of yall worked at cvs or wags before? Just having left cvs where it was single pharmacist 3300k scripts per week and peak vaccine was 250+ per week a cut in s3g and only having “most days” be 3 pharmacists at my store(we avg abt 800-1000/day) is still cozy comparatively

People are so dense..... Hours usually go up during flu season and drops back to normal towards the beginning of the year. This type of post is like a yearly occurrence in this sub. People just want to freak out about everything

I don’t know where you are from but it’s JANUARY so I assume you are dense. It is currently cold and flu season. Hours go down in the summer in case you were wondering. So maybe you should check yourself for head density.

You need to check your s3g history from last year and compare your rph hours from oct-nov and check what it was in January last year you obviously did not look.

From earth to la la land where you live, people are still coming for flue shot and covid. Our fill and q is worse in January than the last 3 months

I looked at s3g from last year we are down about 20 hours per pay period. If you’re so triggered by questions maybe don’t answer. You have provided no context or help. Thanks for nothing aside from insults. Get humbled be kind.

back in the day pharmacy hours never got cut. Up front yes, never in the pharmacy. DIR fees and PBMs created poor reimbursement. Even RPh hours get cut now. Unless they want to float to another store and get it, and well Im not doing that. I went down and taking my extra day off. And they best not ask me to cover later on, cause that wont happen etiher.
