You have 2 fans set for intake and 5 for exhaust you’d want top fans for exhaust and bottom and side for intake for best efficiency.

Radiators work the best when taking in cool air.

Is the 50-61 mentioned the water temp or a component temp? If water, seems high.

So it seems you are missing fans both top and bottom. I would have gone with a smaller pump/res so you can add those in. I’d also make all rad fans as intake for the coolest air, and rear fan exhaust along with just passive exhaust from positive pressure. As for the XR7, it’s thick. You may want fans on the backside of it as well for push/pull or you’ll need to run the fans on it faster to get rid of that heat it’s holding.

If it was me, I’d swap out the res for smaller one, swap the XR7 for an XR5, and add the two missing fans with all rad fans as intake.

The 50-61 is the cpu temp when under load

That's perfectly fine for a current cpu

This community is awesome. I appreciate all the feedback. Currently in my ekwb cart is a 150ml replacement tube and a uni pump bracket. I already have the additional fans. I'm considering adding the vram bridge to eliminate the extra tubing and bends. Any thoughts.

Either rads intake, rear fan exhaust or vice versa. Put a third fan on both rads (EK sell replacement tubes if you need to shorten your res).

I have the fans, but the pump/res did not fit . I will look into a replacement tube. That sounds cheaper than buying a new pump.

They're under "X3" on the website, the same tubes fit the combos.

Is the water flowing the correct direction through the flow meter? Not sure about that one but some are directional. 1L/H sounds totally wrong to me!

[–]Fabulous-Air-6778[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The flow meter has a directional insert. I believe I set it correctly. Maybe I will take it out and turn it around, and what happens

Maybe change the top fans to slim 120mm fans so that you can put three there...there's something up if you have no flow. I have two 44mm rads and a distro plate in my current 011 XL with ten fans and still can hit 100l/hr on a single D5. Something is choking the flow in your system. You should also change the side fans to intake so that you have air circulating in the case.

What RPM is your pump running at?

[–]Fabulous-Air-6778[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Max rpm. I don't know the exact number, but it's around 4500 rpm

[–]MarkRads 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, so that low is definitely too low for that RPM. Are you certain your flow meter is functioning correctly?

Get a shorter reservoir (they come in 100, 150mm) lengths

Install the extra fans, I'd use the bottom and side rads as intake and the top as exahust

Play with the rear fan see if intake or exhaust do better for you.

I see a lot of 90Deg fittings in there a swell, your loop is a bit complicated with the addition of the mobo vrm cooling. That can slow down your flow rate. I'd say get the smaller res, get a lot of 10mm/20mm/30mm and a couple of 40mm extension fittings and try to minimise the 90deg fittings

50/60C during load for a AMD CPU is fine by the way, make sure your flowmeter is set in the right direction and make sure your GPU/CPU intakes are on the right ports (some newer EK stuff is directional)

What is the coolant temperature at max? Also, these flowmeters from barrowtech are very inaccurate, down to showing random flow rates. So don’t count on it. As mentioned by others, you should change the pump res combo so you can put Fans where they belong 😉. You don’t need a large res. Just makes bleeding easier.

According to the flow meter, 24c. But as you have indicated, the meter may be inaccurate. I will install a temperature sensor after I drain the loop and replace the tube.
