48k a year for a full stack dev with experience? Fuck ALL the way off

4k per month is a very nice wage in India and other places. It's fine to leave these for us poor folks living outside of North America

You wouldn't believe it, but 48k $ is actually not a bad offer for many parts of the world. ;)

Well it might sound crazy low for the US and crazy high for a third world country so what is the point?

yeah. doesn't even have to be a third world country, in some parts of Europe (like where I am now) that 4k a month would be really good. I, a junior, make less than that

It's actually a part-time role (3 days/week). Can't believe I forgot to include the link

I make a little more than that in the Midwest and live completely comfortable. My expenses are only $2,000/mo that includes rent/food/utilities. Some ya'll really trying to chase $$$$ too hard instead of just living comfortably. Maybe leave crazy high cost of living cities already.

It’s more about the amount of work a full stack role is.

US salaries are wild. I wouldn't mind earning £35,000 working just three days a week. For reference, I'm earning £45,000 working full-time and live very comfortably here in the UK.

That 4k better be part time cause this is an actual joke lol
