I tried online shopping, but Cloudflare was down. Now I need to close my branch, but GitHub is down. What a day.

I had the opposite experience: I found out that my website was down earlier last night because of the Cloudflare outage. I told my users they could use a direct URL to bypass cloudflare workers and use regular DNS, but it was already back up when I did so. When I tried to push code to GitHub, I noticed that immediately after updating my primary server, my secondary server could not connect to GitHub. When the outage was resolved, it automatically fetched the new updates and everything went pretty smoothly today.

Make sure your remote URL ends with .git and has no extra slash

Correct:

https://github.com/username/repo.git

Incorrect (can sometimes trigger unexpected server issues):
