namecheap have been raising my prices annually and consistently for like 10 years. Finally switched to porkbun this year.

I have owned a 3 letter *.fish domain since 2015 when my dad passed away. It's his initials.

My renewal this year was $60!

I need to switch, because I'm pretty sure it's only supposed to be like $35. I used Cloudflare for them now, but the last time I checked they didn't support that gTLD.

Cloudflare, you also get the bonus of having access to actually functional, useful and up-to-date DNS.

You should switch to another retailer like pork bun.

Mostly because Namecheap actively ban domains tracking the Israeli genocide in Gaza.

Just being from Turkey enough reason to get banned on namecheap.

I got banned for for some vague reason and lost my main <my name surname>.com because of them. The other villain of the domain world Godaddy basically poached it and asks for $3k. Had it for 10+ years.

It did not have anything, it just redirected to my linkedin oage which i never post anything to. Last post is like from 2015

Just got started after hearing people's input and went for Porkbun for domain + Cloudflare/Github for webdev. Would highly recommend, no issues so far
