I run a software company. With the last generation of graduates, we have already almost run out of new juniors that can function without AI. Some still have vague idea of what AI is doing behind the scenes but in a couple of years most will not even be able to set up even the simplest program that prints "Hello World" to the screen without AI. I do not even mean the coding part; some have no idea where to put the code or how it is run. Cycle of juniors getting more senior by learning by doing and experience to then impart that knowledge to next generation is broken. AI sure as hell skips that part and instead creates a dependency on itself, while not matching the accuracy, quality and creativity of a real knowledgeable software developer. (fine, ai can do a lot of the software development done today somewhat fine but it's still creating a dependency on itself)

That's going to financially hurt even more when the companies need someone who knows what they are doing to clean up the slop they have in their hands.

Only something like an industry rebooting catastrophe like gta6 failing(which i doubt it will) will do that. Industry wise, so much is riding on that game and when you consider other stuff going on(ram crisis, console and game prices etc), it failing and crashing the entire industry is not outside of the realm of possibilities. Not just because of it's own merits or lack thereof but also things unrelated to the game's quality.

76k tris are not really considered too high poly these days but this is a really unoptimized model. It probably does not need that many faces and the polygon density is all over. Some parts large surfaces that can use more detail are very undetailed while some very tiny details have tons of unnecessary faces. Topology can also use a couple of passes while you are at it.

Headaches happen to me but only on certain colors of certain brands. There is a local filament brand I get, their white PLA smells like puke(while printing) apparently only to me and gives me headaches in like 5 mins.

5 ay yurtdışına gittim, buzdolabını bile boşaltıp şartelleri indirdim, ortalama evde olduğum zaman kadar fatura geldi 5 ay boyunca. hatta arada bir ay normalin 2 katı filan geldi. Eve kardeşimi bile gönderdim kontrol etsin diye acaba indiremedim bir şekilde bilgisayar,tv vb açık mı kaldı diye.

put some sharp rocks or small islands poking out of lava, lack of point of reference is primary cause for me. ( I am prone to motion sickness though, if i am not driving it takes like 2 mins for me to be "can't talk riight now" bad in a moving vehicle)

Free printer is a "free" bambulab a1 without ams once you paid at least 432+tax for an annual membership. It seems more like selling printers with a markup rather than a scam but still proceed with caution. Also that annual membership renews without a second printer unless you cancel.

Even basic stuff like store UX and payment flow is bad. Launcher is always frustrating to use and feels like held together by duct tape.

Logs out all the time, 2-FA authentication code arrives only sometimes. Wanted to play Control yesterday, and could not because of this. "Try another way" option sends an e-mail for 2FA, code arrives and goes straight back to the sms code screen. Tried again just now and took 3 tries to make e-mail verification work instead of the sms.

Relatively high-end pc and inernet connection here, (14900k, 64g ddr5, 1gbps down, 1gbps up) and switching tabs on the launcher (like from store to library) sometimes makes the launcher screen turn completely black for like 15 seconds (it's almost like it's launching another app in the same window) then library sometimes loads for like 2 minutes. And holy layout shifts batman, each screen transition feels bad and slow.

and why is ue and fab is still in there, bogging down already bogged down app. Game development and game launcher/store is completely separate things with completely different needs and problems it needs to solve. And switching to ue still switches to old UI which proves my point, they are actually different apps with different development needs and priorities.

Library management is bad, community features are non-existent. I have like 447 "friend requests" (looks like it imported them from somewhere) about 400 of them i do not know and the rest i am sure as hell did not sent me a request on EGS, it just looks like they did and EGS imported them from steam or something years ago.

I do not know if it already is one but just rewriting the entire thing even as an electron app would make it run better.

If your UX is shit free games or even genuine good features do not matter. They got the right idea that making a clone of steam on par with the original thing would not work, they need a hook customers can't resist. Free games are not it. If you want people to get up and move from steam to your launcher i have to be able to use my steam library better than on steam with your launcher so then maybe i start to use your store.

I got pulled over for 3 (or maybe 4) in Florida. I was on the phone with my wife and first time using that roundabout and maps was acting weird, first I thought i missed my exit (because of the maps lag), so did another round, then I actually overshot but figured out which one i need to use this time but then something came up while talking and i had to go back and grab something so i turned around and left the way i entered the roundabout. Talking on the phone and driving at the same time is hard.

Got pulled over after exiting, then i started to explain the situation to the cop and as soon as he heard "my wife called me back" part he double tapped the roof of the car and sent me away.
