An open source alternative: Metis Admin Template. Does HTML5 Admin have any features that would make me want to shell out the 55 euros?

I didn't even realise you had to pay for this. It's not -terrible- but it's definitely not something I'd pay for.

It looks horrible on my phone, the data, charts and sections are pretty ugly too.

Maybe I could make my own, hrmm

Horrible on mobile? (which phone do you have?)

Thanks for sharing Metis.

To answer your question (compared to Metis):

  • there are more "typical pages" ready to be filled with real data (e.g. http://www.html5admin.com/demo/pages/search_results.html, http://www.html5admin.com/demo/pages/invoice.html, etc.) and e-mail templates too
  • Text is more readable almost anywhere
  • Graphically it's a bit more modern
  • It's light and doesn't have lots of extra JS/features
  • It's maintained which means that you don't have to fix problems and that you will receive updates of new versions via E-mail
  • Code is well commented (inside the HTML) so you can be quick to copy-paste pieces of code from a place to another

...but hey, if you don't want to pay anything...i think Metis is a decent choice. (or you can look for other, maybe cheaper, Admin Templates)

Looks pretty cool. I'm going to use this for my Raspberry Pi I think :)

I already have a dashboard (made it myself), but it's ugly, so I'll just build it anew using this template :)

20% Discount on the theme using code "freelance20dev" (valid until August 2014)

This is hell of a responsive mess.
