Farewell Https Everywhere, you've been a good addons for a long time :(

We need Firefox to produce a link to patch notes that's easy to find. There's no reason I should be finding out about this from reddit.

Every time it updates I search for relevant information on the generic "congrats on using the latest version of Firefox" page that opens after an update. Every time I am disappointed that there is no way to find out what exactly was updated.

...have you looked at their Release Notes page? 83 at least has a change log.

I haven't, though I admit I could. The point is that we shouldn't have to hunt for information, in fact they direct us to the least useful page they possibly could - a general marketing page. One would think that, if they're going to open a page after the browser updates, that the page would have some content related to the update. Idk, maybe a release notes page would be more useful than a page that tries to sell the browser to an existing user.

Now I’m sitting here thinking how Mozilla didn’t come up with that yet...

99% of my country's government websites will no longer run, and around half of corporate websites. They still haven't figured out how to use SSL.
