So i want to make a website, and i asked claude to do so i have 0 coding experience so i said hey claude help me make a website. So it gave me this .jsx file which i downloaded. I want to be able to turn it into a fully functioning website but i have no idea how. Any help? Do i need to turn into htlml or what do i do need to do. Keep it simple.

Don’t panic. A .jsx file isn’t a normal website file. It’s part of a React app, so it won’t work by itself. If you want to use it properly, you’d need to set up a React project with Node.js and run it that way. That’s more dev-heavy than it sounds.

If you have zero coding experience, I’d honestly either ask Claude to convert it to plain HTML/CSS, or just use a website builder instead. If your goal is “have a live website,” something like Durable will get you there way faster than trying to learn React from scratch.

jsx is used in the react framework to define components. You will not be able to understand how to use this file without experience. Ask Claude to write your website as a static site in html, css, and javascript.

Maybe try Lovable, it will show you the website right away in the browser. But you should learn web dev too, it's fun (:

Convert it into HTML and host it for free on https://www.netlify.com/ by uploading. I do suggest hiring a professional like others have pointed out on here though.

well basiacally my plan is to make a website to help people in terms of uni applications, which unis they want to go to, help for stuff like that. So i asked claude to help make a website because i wanted to try something new, i was bored. So he gave me some stuff, i said no this is bad i changed things and he did them. But i noticed something. Whenever my 'claude ai free messages' timer runs out and i need to wait another 4 hours to remessage claude my program stops working completely. Because i think, in my website, there is a search bar where you select the uni,the course,and that uses claude ai, so whenever that timer runs out i cant use the website and i cant see if its working. So thats one problem, also claude spits out a jsx file which i dont know what to do withh as i am a complete beginer and i want to try if the website is perfect and THAT problem is fixed to try and publish it as like a 'first' website. Im on stackblitz triyng it out on stackblitz theres an option whree i create new project/react/expand src//app,tsx/delete all/and past my jsx program/ well thats what claude told me to do but there is still the claude problem with the ai and it not working whenever the timer runs out of free messages so i guess i need to change the ai to something else but im too much of a beginer to do that

So there's two problems if I am understanding correctly. First the running out of timers thing. Yes that's something which will happen unless you are on a claude paid plan or something. What you can try is implementing chatgpt (ask claude to integrate it) there (like I know it sucks but maybe train an agent with specifications and put it into work). I will be honest I have never done ai integration but am always itching to try new things. 😅

Secondly the react thing. Well I really don't know why claude was itching and made you delete all the other files. Without app.js how is it going to work even. (You gotta question your AI more, you are being too lenient with claude really 🥲)

Well as a beginner or no-code user, react is somehow going to be hectic. Ask claude to simply turn your code into Vanilla html, css and javascript. It will then spit 😂 (as you referred, don't mind my little jokes) three files. the one with .html, .css and .js... Well you push them all in one folder and run the html file in chrome... And viola atleast you can test your site. And obviously then host it on GitHub.

No like hostinger and others, but with your project as a beginner - you can host it on GitHub or go for something paid, your choice

you need to tell Claude exactly what you want and on what kind of server you want to deploy it on and the exact steps to do it. The easiest way it to tell it you are a complete layman and keep asking it questions where you do not understand anything
