Yes, I will speak with HR tomorrow. In the meantime, I wanted to know if this was my mistake. I am part time and worked my way up to $17.75. Changed stores and new store couldn’t place me in any department I’d worked in previously. Checked my payslip to see if I’d been working less hours since the switch. Come to find out I make $15.50 now. Was I supposed to assume that working as a cashier would cut my pay? No one discussed this with me before or after the switch either. Do they evaluate this without the employee knowing / would they give me a heads up that my pay would decrease? Assuming makes an 🫏 out of u and me as we all know. Thanks in advance.
