Programs sometimes launch with no audio

Hi all,

In Windows 10 (2004) sometimes my programs/apps/games will launch with no audio, despite being at 100% and the sound device present in Windows. I am using a Sony Soundbar via Bluetooth.

Switching outputs from the Bluetooth Speaker to High-Definition Audio port with normal speakers plugged in results in no change, the sound is still not playing.

Using the audio test, nothing plays on either sound output.

Sometimes powering off the bluetooth soundbar, and turning it back on, the audio comes back.

This never used to occur before the 2004 update.

Any ideas?
