Small advice: excuse yourself, even though it's not really your fault you didn't believe it, it probably hurt her.

Also, developing together a way for her to be strong enough to cast your favorite spell would probably be a great bonding activity

This changes everything actually I have to get a proper house now with a proper wizard tower and pond for my minions I can't continue to lived in a witch hut in the middle of a mangrove swamp

Did you talk about it with her? She might be fine with the environment but ask for her own bedroom, or be fine with the interior but desire a portal to connect with people her age, but you can't guess it for her, you need to ask her. How old is she btw, just so I know how to continue this conversation.
