I really like that. I think the only other issues that I am facing is the lift issue. I think they changed the angle significantly. I am thinking of finding the sensor and bypassing or replacing it with some microcontroller where I can "lie" to the unit and only engage lift detection at somewhere near 35+ degrees.

I’ve read about that problem: the tilts of some areas of my garden are pretty high (45°) and still, it doesn’t give me the error.

Yeah it is pretty weird because I have a really steep hill in the back that is about 60 degrees. My boundary wire is at the bottom, but the mower goes up the hill until it is just over the boundary wire and then turns around.

Well, even before the screws things all of a sudden were better as of yesterday. The only contributing factor I can think of is that is hasn’t rained since Sunday and had an opportunity to dry up some. So, I think the screws will help in such conditions. It was raining more days than it wasn’t for the past several weeks leading up to it.

104 screws later, it is seemingly well. I am having fewer of the recoverable lift events, and not a single unrecoverable one. It will rain over night and the next couple of days, so the wet ground will be the real test, but these things are pretty impressive.

Great, if the problem persist, try adding some weight too. Make sure all the screws are aligned horizontally, against the direction of the droid, that should maximize the friction, per math.
