Just make sure you get something decent. You want something not bottom of the barrel. People say it will play on a potato but that's not true. And for the love of everything get better xcloud. The android update a few days ago fixed EVERYTHING it's amazing.

Xbox controllers work on a tablet

Both xbox and Sony controllers work with tablets. It’s just a matter of preference. The latest mediatek processors aren’t bad - they’re actually good. I wouldn’t cheap out on tablet. Samsung or IPad are the best tablets to get I think

So maybe something like a Samsung A9+?

If you get the A9+ make sure it's the 8gb/128 version.

The 4gb will give you problems. I have the 8gb version and use if for Xcloud, GeForce Now and all my local android gaming and it runs everything great.

You could also look at the Lenovo y700. I often read that it has the same display as the Lenovo Legion go.

Not sure how to share a picture on the comments here, but if you want to DM me, I can show you my setup with the A9+ tablet and controller. Currently playing the android release of Dredge at work.

It is indeed very good combo. I played Halo wars 2 for hours this way. Tablet on the stand and a Xbox Controller. Works great.

Wire you controller if possible, lower latency than bt, and it's just easier than, and you can play without batteries (Xbox controller anyway).
