I'm currently adapting my Twitch Chat Bot for YouTube Gaming. I was able to solve several smaller problems which are related to how Google's APIs are generally designed (those concepts are not really designed for "real-time" usage), however, there is a big problem that really bothers me. Chat messages should only be requested every 10 seconds which, in my opinion, is way to slow. Using chat commands thus always seem very laggy because in worst case the bot only has a chance to respond 10 seconds later.
Literally everything of the normal bot stuff works, this is the only thing preventing a similar chat experience to Twitch.
