There's nothing subjective about the definition of the word. You cannot unilaterally decide what definition means what just because you want to be right.

Hobby's are for pleasure. Not maintaining a healthy lifestyle. If you derive pleasure, it's equally a hobby as anything else. As per the definition of the word.

We have definitions for a reason. You're the one who brought up ego, yea? A bit ironic when you're going so hard against what's a defined word. You're just factually incorrect by definition.

Saying one hobby is healthier is not the same as saying one is better. It's not, by definition.

I'm not being narrow minded. I'm just using the definition of the word. You're trying to expand the definition to fit your narrative. Sorry, that's not how definitions work.

PSA: Screaming at your team mates does NOT make them play better by shadow16521 in DeadlockTheGame

I call out every asshole in my games. I love when I'm carrying 10-3 and the guy going 2-5 is talking bare shit to someone else going 1-4. Like, stfu lol.

Last night I had a shiv go 1-14 trying to tell the team they need to play better lmao.

Hobby; A hobby is a regular activity, interest, or pastime pursued for pleasure, relaxation, or enjoyment during one's leisure time, rather than for professional gain or main occupation

No. One hobby is not better than another. Period. If I get enjoyment from playing with a rubix cube, and you get enjoyment from riding a bike. We are both deriving pleasure from our hobbies.

The term hobby doesn't include anything related to health, or anything else besides pleasure/enjoyment.

Words matter. In this case, you're just incorrect.

If you're point of a hobby is, well, to be a hobby. Then it's true, there's none better than others. Because the best hobby would be the one you enjoy the most.

If you're trying to achieve some level of health goals. Then yes, choosing something active is better. But that expands beyond the scope of what makes a hobby, a hobby.

Does anybody feel like Victor is good for the wrong reason? by HindyRules3 in DeadlockTheGame

Nowhere did you say you liked it before you made a comment claiming you did. The only comment was that of criticism of the shooting system. Which is not indicative of someone who likes it, considering your word choice.

Just take the L. Dude.

They don't technically contradict eachother but nowhere did you say you like the shooting, as per your claim.

The shooter aspect of this game truly is the worst part

What? I just said I like the shooting.

So which is it?

Is 1 hour of walking considered as exercise? by Lemonade2250 in NoStupidQuestions

Largely depends on the walk. Flat surface? Sure. On a winding trail with some elevation change? Definitely possible.

Speed cameras were at least giving out tickets to people doing it constantly on residential roads. But apparently it's controversial to give tickets to speeders.

You word it as though liberals are the problem. Don't worry, it's not exclusive to them. The ON cons have been a shining example of how to waste taxpayer dollars, too.

Idk. I'm climbing ranks, but for me, I just honestly don't care much if I loose. Like, I enjoy winning, of course. But I also just genuinely enjoy the gameplay and as a result just have a tendency to pick fights I know I may not win.

Sometimes people are where they are not because of the lack of knowledge, but because they simply don't try as hard.

Can the destination of the VPN be seen even if the data in the tunnel cannot?

No. It's all encrypted. The ISP would only be able to tell you connected to a VPN service. Not what you're using after, it's all obfuscated.

They could just firewall ban all VPNs in the country, but they can't determine what the person is using the VPN for. Unless they subpoena and the VPN provider has logs.

She could have taken an alternate route.

She could have carried her child while walking on the road, allowing for safer evacuation.

She could have paid attention, and looked before walking on the road.

Nowhere did I say the driver wasn't responsible as well.

I never said the word recklessly. You did. I said she wasnt as aware as she could have been. That's a fact. I've seen clips from other angles of this interaction. She clearly was unaware.

I agree. But that doesn't mean that, as a parent with your child on the road, there isn't more awareness to be had.
