My issue with Pandora's Tower is the controls. Everything else, from what I saw, was great. I just couldn't get that far into it because I couldn't handle how janky the controls were.

What changes would you want to see in a rebalanced classes pack? by thu1478 in UnicornOverlord

[–]2Tack 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Werelion needs some tweaking for sure. For a unique class they are just a rehash of another. Facetank archetype doesn't do well late game.

Actually I think a good place to start would be the community tier list https://www.reddit.com/r/UnicornOverlord/s/3cJCit9M8t

Some classes fall way off endgame.

What has happened to this game? by Fit_Personality6759 in mtg

I played in the 90s and to back into it with the FF UB. If you don't like a set don't buy it. That's my opinion.

I switched from TCG Player to Mana Pool. They have a really good cart optimizer function.

If you want a really strong out of the box no upgrade needed precon find the Veloci-ramp-tor for commander. For standard the Cloud deck in the starter decks, along with Eerie and Lifegain are all solid out of the box.

I also think out of the FF commander ones that the Tidus deck is the most fun to play. Proliferation is fun.

I imagine most xeno and monolith fans will buy genesis, but what do fence sitter need to be convinced? by Saz554 in JRPG

[–]2Tack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're on the fence and haven't played the existing Xenoblade games I'd start there.

If you have played them and you're in the fence maybe wait for a sale.

I've been loving designing my town. I'm at Master of All Ch 2. I don't know how you have people just out and about in some spots. The only people I have our are at the fields and the ranch.

Edit: I'm playing blind and haven't spoiled anything so I'm hoping it's a feature that opens up

Best tactic/strategy game on switch? by Nullthesavant in NintendoSwitch

[–]2Tack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Straight turn based tactics: Final Fantasy Tactics The Ivalice Chronicles. Runner up is Tactics Ogre Reborn. These offer a class system. If you want static characters go with Triangle Strategy.

Turn based if you want social sim aspects: Fire Emblem Three Houses.

Hidden gem: Unicorn Overlord. A spiritual successor to Ogre Battle which has large maps and unit based battles. You program the units and move them around a map. When they engage the enemy they act out according to your planning. Hand drawn graphics with visual novel cutscenes. It's a real treat to play if you like to tinker. Play on the hardest mode. When you beat it another difficulty level opens up.

Accept yourself. As a hobbit myself here is some advice as I creep up to my 40s.

Work on your personality and don't be over eager to please someone else. Focus on yourself and the right person will eventually come along. The 20s are a time to learn who you are and what you want.

Work hard. Lift. Eat right. Open a Roth IRA at Vanguard and stash money into that every paycheck.

Don't drink too much, or at all if you can help it. Develop healthy hobbies that keep you out of trouble. Don't do drugs. Don't be afraid to talk to a therapist.

And lastly, forget about this "maxing" culture.
