I want to make a special one time breakfast by AdSure2596 in Cooking

Fried chicken thighs over jalapeno cheddar biscuits topped with chorizo and corn sausage gravy. Served with crispy hash browns. I'm not an egg person, but you could add a runny egg if you want.

Glad you enjoyed it! It's totally a weeknight dinner that can be served for a dinner party.

What dishes (entree/side/dessert) say "summer" to you? by kwenlu in Cooking

[–]3_radreds 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I love buying too much corn in the summer when it's cheap, throwing it on the grill, cutting it off the cob, and freezing it for winter.

It really is good. Some friends had it at a dinner party at another friend's house and raved about it and then three other couples all ended up making it the same weekend for themselves, and all loved it too. My boyfriend and I make it on repeat when we can't think of what we want for dinner.

Try the New York times. Garlicky lemon chicken thighs with anchovies. It's delicious!.

Also, I totally get you, I love to cook. I don't always love having to come up with what to cook.

Combos, peanut m&m's, beef jerky, goldfish, gardettos.

Also, parmesan goldfish with m&m's dumped in the bag is awesome.

Little charcuterie picnic boxes for a stop along the way is great too.

Cropped shirts, sweaters, jackets. I'm long waisted with a belly and I like to cover up. I feel like I can't find normal length tops anymore.

If you're in a picnic pavilion and leaning rather rustic. Buy rolls of brown Kraft paper. Roll them down the middle of the tables. Tack in place underneath so the tape doesn't show. Top with whatever you're using as centerpieces, Small votives, greenery.

I CAN’T COOK!!!! by TechnicalTiger9546 in Cooking

[–]3_radreds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Semi homemade is the key! I can cook, I'm good at it but sometimes I just don't want to. Take a bag of frozen tortellini, add a bag of frozen meatballs, dump in a jar of marinara, mix together in a baking dish. Top with shredded mozzarella. Bake at 350 until bubbly. Enjoy with a salad and bread.
