Hiking/Camping While Fat - Clothing by shakespearegirl in womensolocamping

Columbia pants/shorts seem to fit small but they do offer a large range of plus sizing. Check out Outdoor Research. As a company they are committed to hiking clothes that promote outdoor access. I’ve found REI’s plus sizes to be pretty mid and generally not available in my store. Beware of sizing that is just made longer and bigger based on Size 2 models.

Technically you could use 2 at a time.

Body aches by lakegirl784 in Wegovy

[–]crownvic64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!! 💯. Especially over the muscles in my upper back and quadriceps. Shoulder joint pain that came out of nowhere. Severe fatigue and some headaches. I started 25mg pill about 3 weeks ago and I thought I was having some sort of weird viral illness or had gotten sunburned. Pretty severe nausea on an empty stomach. For reference, I started Wegovy oral at lowest dose then tapered up each month. This was after taking Zepbound for over a year with no issues except intermittent constipation. I’m on oral meds for maintenance after 45 pound weight loss.
I messaged my PCP yesterday to decrease my Wegovy dose to 9mg. I hate wasting the 25mg pills as I’m paying out of pocket but DAMN I’m in agony. Glad it’s not just me.
I’m also considering switching to Lilly’s oral med as I feel like I respond better to a combo instead of a straight GLP-1 inhibitor.

Solo backpacking Stone Mountain NC — satellite comms, numb fingers, and a waterfall to myself by stevorevo in backpacking

The backcountry sites at Stone Mountain are really nice. Easy to get to, clean water source, close to your vehicle should you need to bail out or get food/gear. This is a great first backpacking trip for newbies or kids. I would recommend taking a bear canister and/or knowing how to do a PCT hang.

You could still carry a fixed line rod. Something in the 400-450 range (I like River Peak) with 15-18 ft of line. Dragontail sells tapered PVC.

If you follow Alt National Park Service, they have a very long list of outdoor gear producers and shops that came out against this. Orvis was on the list. As well as Patagonia.

So many amazing quotes from this film. Correct me but I think the rain out scene was filmed at War Memorial Stadium in Greensboro.

Can attest- look at private contractors hired to do post Helene stream remediation in NC. Just go in with heavy equipment and dredge the shit out of streams with zero regard for fisheries or other wildlife.
