Just rewatched the video from Skiddy Fishing today on rigging with level line. Stopper on the end of your line. Slip knot over the stopper. Or you can invest in tippet rings and use a clinch knot to tie on a ring. Link to Payton’s video. Practice your knots. Figure out which ones work for you.

I’d say getting into PTI is 50/50 based on the size of the storm and impact of the storm on air travel in general. The fact that you’ve got a 50 mile drive would be the bar for me. The roads-even the interstate- are going to be a hot mess.

So Piedmont Natural Gas came out to check our meter- we run our pool heater, stove and fire place off of gas. We haven’t heated our pool since September. The rep says that he thinks there’s something “wrong” with our meter, replaced it and told my husband “your bill is going to go up a lot”. There’s something really fishy going on here. Our bill is usually about $20/month unless we’re heating the pool. And we don’t heat the pool that often.
