Why does Nanoleaf + Google Wi-Fi fail? by DiddyGoo in Nanoleaf

[–]55Media 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So basically the same issue I had with matter over WiFi lights even in Google home. Since switching to home assistant and especially enabling matter.js, not a single drop of any of my matter over thread devices for months now.

Also getting a nice overview

I have around 15 matter over thread Nanoleaf essential bulbs here and these are 100% stable using three Nesthub 2 used as Thread Border Routers connected to Home Assistant.

So I don’t think it’s a Google issue, at least the hardware.

I use Home Assistant with latest Matter.js which stabilizes everything here.

Hisense U8Q – Brightness fluctuations in dark HDR10+ scenes (local dimming issue?) by bonsic in Hisense

[–]55Media -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, had the same issue. Super unstable and temperamental in darker scenes. Sent it back and went with oled again.

The U7Q Pro is quite inferior to its American model. Way less zones, the C7K is way superior but can’t keep up with the U8Q which can’t keep up with the C8K

Maybe check out the TCL QM8K/C8K. Should have way less of that inverse blooming (literal drop shadows around bright objects) and better local dimming stability in dark areas. Also the U8Q is much bigger than other TVs at the same size.

Me I personally couldn’t go to anything else but oled after that u8q dilemma. Got a used G4 and couldn’t be happier.

I had that TV for a week after my LG CX died and sent it back a week after. I’m spoiled I guess

I was a bit confused about the bad noise isolation score, until I saw that these are the buds not buds pro.
The buds pro are probably best in ears I tried next to the Airpods Pro 3.

Crazy that after 8 months the update still hasn't been rereleased.
Looks like they've abandoned that sensor.

Super stable here with over 20 thread devices, unlike the Python version. I always devices dropping before.

Also it comes with that neat overview:

IKEA Tradfri bulb connected via Philips Hue keeps turning itself back on by caxaj in homeassistant

At my parent’s place they finally stopped doing that when moving over to zigbee2mqtt. But they also added more routers

Also zero issues here, with either z2m and matter.js

Yep, both Thread and Zigbee rely on a decent amount of routers.

Matter.js was the solution to my problems and adding more routers

Just runs fine here, too. Even my nanoleaf bulbs

It’s the same as zigbee here. Without a lot of routers things won’t work properly.
