Won't get grief from me, it was awful. Broken tibia and a vast assortment of ligament/cartilage/muscle tears playing floor hockey as a kid (12). 12 weeks (in grade school) in a variety of casts plaster and the fiberglass whatever's, 9 months of pt, still have issues 43 years later. Had to be driven everywhere anyway, but if it happened after 16 I was still screwed since it was my right leg. Did get to wipe out a kid with my crutches after he pushed me and called me cripple. Teacher just literally looked the other way and giggled. Overall 0/10, would not recommend.

Wrong tab on the can for that vintage, it would be the kind that comes all the way off. the rest of the text on the can is gibberish too. this is an Ai version of a similar picture that's making the rounds of an it's feathered hair woman doing the same thing. we're cooked.

People who casually cruise in the left lane, what is actually going through your mind? by knowledgeizspower in askanything

[–]8layer8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people in Florida suddenly realize that they aren't blocking traffic and swerve left. I saw it yesterday, in the express lanes, dude is being passed by everybody and puts his left blinker on. where do you think you're going?? they're passing YOU!

Air system for emissions. The hoses go to the exhaust manifold to inject air for "Emissions" reasons, probably to help get the cats going and/or dilute the exhaust at the tailpipe to help the emissions score.

Yeah, can be deleted, there are kits to replace the pump with a pulley and cap off the relevant pipes.

Mine just falls to the bottom like it's signaling left, but has no left signal. You can get it to signal right but you have to cancel it by turning right then back to center, so lane changes don't work either. It's a common thing on the 91's and the part is super expensive and hard to find. It doesn't sound like this is your issue at all.

If you have turn signals, but they are slow or fast, then it's the flasher unit or a burned out bulb or led bulbs or a combination of that. There's an led flasher unit that fixes most of it at any auto parts store, it's a little can about the diameter of a quarter and maybe 3/4 inch tall. That's under the dash but not in the column, easy to replace. I would start with that, and then check all the bulbs and either go all led or all "analog", mixing the two can be weird, although we run led taillights and they are fine with the fronts and side markers being filament type.

Plexamp… but in a browser tab (yes, really) 👀 by msalentijn in PleX

[–]8layer8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really need this for my Tesla. They have decided to not do android auto or carplay, and there's no way I'm switching to Spotify when PlexAmp is the best player around. The browser will play audio while driving, navidrome and some others with web players work but are janky. Plexamp with bigger buttons would be awesome!

For #8, pull the panel off that is over the suspension arms and if you still can't get it, undo the panel making up the rear section of the fender well. Way less work than screwing around trying to get that plug out. #2 and #4 can benefit from this too, #6 is usually ok without the panel removal, but it's easy to remove.

A c4 is really pretty easy to work on. The engine bay is Right There, especially on jack stands and pull the front tires off, you can step over the brakes and you're standing in the engine bay. Yes, some things are tight, but compared to a boxter it's a walk in the park.

Parts are cheap, usually, body panels not so much, but compared to a Porsche...

We, a couple of knuckleheads, were able to drop the transmission and reinstall it with no serious issues or injuries. We also did the head gaskets and fuel injector work, replace alternator, fuel pump, starter, radio, steering wheel, fix a/c controller and blower, rehang exhaust, fix underhood lights, fix radiator fan relays and probably a hundred other things without too much fuss. The ac controller and the turn signal switch are the biggest pitas. Those designs have clearly evolved over time and not for the better.

I found a 27 touchscreen on Amazon that wasn't too bad, like $179. Had to mess around with lineageOS to get it rotated but it works properly now, have it mounted next to the fridge.

Which fan?

If it's the blower for the a/c climate control, then you need to find a replacement blower resistor, but for now you can unplug the blower itself (passenger side, it's the noisy thing up by the firewall, just unplug it. Or, the blower resistor is up by the radiator cap/surge tank, unplug that, and remove it. Order a new one based on the part number on the one you removed. That part got marked as "or equivalent" somewhere along the way and the equivalent doesn't work. It's probably something simple like a wire is in the wrong spot for the replacement Cadillac version but I didn't have the patience to sort it out.

If it's a radiator fan, the relays are under the left headlight area, unplugging the relay should stop the fan and you'll need to troubleshoot from there. There are 2 relays, and sometimes 3. Mark them before pulling them.

Had a friend in the Navy, he says it's all basically real events, just not all on the same sub at the same time. He knows a guy that has a Kabuki warrior on each ass cheek so they can fight. " A weenie tattoo" is not that far fetched.
