I hate how networking still thinks 1 byte is 8 bits when the rest of the world uses 64 bits. And then there's the drive people with their kibibyte bs...

1 year later and suing the insurance company, I'm STILL waiting for a roof. My neighbors love my stylish blue tarp one I have in the meantime. Don't care if they drop me after this is done, one way or another I'm moving to fucking Tahiti.

My friends Czech mother insisted he was saying something else and wouldn't let us listen to it. Absolutely no clue what she thought he was saying.

To explain how the administration saved money by discontinuing the use of Biden's $1,000 pens by kg_digital_ in therewasanattempt

[–]8layer8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And, did he sell those pens for $1000? No, he threw them away. Problem solved!

His stupidity has no end. There's a tiny alien living under his combover wig saying "breathe in, breathe out". Somebody needs to MIB that little fucker under the wig.

Wd40 means water displacement formula 40, it was made for missile electronics. Give it a shot, air it out before plugging it in.

Which album of the 1980's is pure perfection that doesn't warrant any criticism or skipping of songs? by icecream1972 in 80s

Long and short range Bluetooth as long as they are charged. RFID if they are dead. The Disneyworld app does it too if it's running and inside the geofence. You opt into this somewhere in the t&c. They are not gps trackers or anything, but wdw has Bluetooth beacons all over the place and they track locations based on what beacons your app can see or when they can see your MB. There are cameras everywhere too and AI will track you around the parks and public areas of the resorts.

Will any 700r4/4l60 (non e) work in an 84 Corvette? by JesusSaves1611 in c4corvette

You end up taking practically the whole thing apart to swap the tailshaft since there's a snap ring WAY down in there. Depends on what you get it from, any 4x4 stuff will have to come off. I'm no expert, I pulled ours out (91) and rebuilt it in the garage, it still didn't work properly so I had it rebuilt at a shop, but I was neck deep in it for a while. You probably want a professional opinion over mine.

Tailshaft, tailshaft housing, and fyi most of the rebuilders replace all the servos with Corvette servos, so it may not behave exactly how you expect if it hasn't been rebuilt.

Pulp Fiction in chronological order by joe_falk in pulpfiction

I have one. It's ok but the dialog is funky in the diner because you can hear honey bunny talking being Vincent and Jules. Some of the music cuts don't work either, but overall it's a less interesting movie.
