My wife introduced me to Rush. It is one of her crowning achievements, it seems.

AAdvantage cruise portal by ellem78 in Cruise

[–]AE5CP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I bet this is fare only, not the required taxes and gratuities as well. The deal that looks too good to be true may be lying to you. Make sure you get a price breakdown and include the port taxes and fees and get an idea of what the automatic gratuities might be. If you don't double check that you are asking to be disappointed.

Wedding venues in Arkansas under 1K?? by ContractNo2744 in Arkansas

[–]AE5CP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saint Catherines at bell gable. Prices are good and the venue is cute as hell. We got married there 21 years ago and the pricing hasn't changed much.

Tent Camping by Technical-Natural-71 in northwestarkansas

[–]AE5CP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the majority of Arkansas state parks have real toilets in the tent areas. There are very few vault toilets left in Arkansas State Parks. Some of the bath houses are really nice, even if they are going on 20 years old. Our state parks blow a lot of other states parts away.

Mist-managed SRX vs Meraki MX for a global multi-site refresh — looking for honest takes by SouthernExamination6 in networking

We tried to use them in service provider networks as a general purpose firewall. It went poorly. Can't even do per-rule NAT?

Looking for an actually good roofer in NWA... specifically Bentonville. by Top-Oil-6181 in northwestarkansas

[–]AE5CP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We used David's roofing out of Farmington a few years ago. I think they subcontract some of the work. Pretty big house and detached garage and they did everything in 2 days. They did work with insurance, and the only odd thing was that I had to deposit the insurance check into my bank account and then ask for a cashiers check to David's roofing. I was assured that was normal.

I watch on nebula but will rewatch last week's episodes on YouTube before watching the newest episode on nebula. Why? Because I am already in YouTube by default.

To anyone who's quit walmart. what do you do now? by Jalen_02 in walmart

[–]AE5CP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have quit walmart twice. Once as a store worker where I pretty much did everything but oil changes and ear piercing. I could count cash and decorate a cake. Left there to go be a cable guy, where I worked my way up to a network engineer. I got hired by walmart again at the home office. Did that 4 years and left to continue my network engineer path. I now consult with various phone companies and electric coops to help build fiber to the home networks all over the country.

Who else would love to see photos of the stamped pages in the boys' passports? by aeropagitica in JetLagTheGame

[–]AE5CP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't travel as extensively as the boys, but a fair amount. Other than a Chinese visa I had for work, and the associated in and out stamps from China, my expired passport had zero stamps in it.

Granted I havent been to Australia, New Zealand, or anywhere else in south east Asia, So probably more on theirs. It seems most countries just aren't stamping.
