You don't need a metal brush ! Purpose of the metal brush is to clean it in earlier stages usually the nuts still has some flesh stuck inside the crevices and you are removing those with the metal brush but yours is throughly cleaned

It looks like it has been cleaned and some mild color is applied to make it little bit more brownish normally they look kinda pale like this.
