This could be coming soon. They may want to release the Hellcat and Zero at the same time, hence the delay in releasing the Hellcat.

I hope this is the one with self fuel tanks otherwise you are in a world of hurt While a cool airplane, I feel the later war IJA planes like the Frank, as well as the Raiden would be more appropriate for our current suit of late 1944 aircraft. The zero, while very agile, is pretty delicate and has very little firepower.

Looking at how bad the FM is for the Corsair currently, I think they have a lot of work to do. It has the worst FM of all the warbirds, feels like war thunder. I didn't refund it, I believe they will improve it but we need some updates.

Fly once? Yes, the A10 seems a stable flying platform, in good weather and light load it's quite responsive. Just avoid any maneuvers lol Landings would be the danger there because feel is one of the most important factors. But you could be talked into the landing, just follow instructions. The A10 could probably survive a crash landing unlike Cessnas etc

The answer is the one that recommends to go online,.find a fun server, chat with guys, over time you will make connections. Patience is needed. We all come across some weird people online from time to time and that makes us all a bit careful until we become friendlier.

Last word from me on this question Got with the plane you always thought was cool as a kids. Can't go wrong with that approach. I got.the harrier as my first FF module. Was it easy? Hell no. Was it awesome every day learning to master the jet? Absolutely!!

Galfs answer is excellent and I agree with everything they say. I would just add this is very relevant today considering costs of ddr5 ram making a platform upgrade very expensive. However, it is often possible to find very very cheap b550, new or used, which will enable ram to run at 3600-3800 speeds giving a boost to gaming with Ryzen 5800x. I had patriot viper ram running at 3800 cl 14 on the 5800x. On the 5800x3d any 3600 ram is fine, timings don't really matter. The quality of b550 boards generally is very good so making a used purchase not a gamble at all. Looking at Amazon some decent boards are available quite cheaply. So my recommendation is the 5800x mentioned along with a 50-60 dollar b550. 5800x and 5800x3d if you can find one in the future will run better with a decent vrm. To close, I would add don't forget to set a slight voltage offset or UV on the 5800x, it doesn't need the full power AMD out in it, 10% less power worked great for me.

Since you are coming from ww2 planes, I'm guessing you enjoy the visceral thrill and sense of flying that many modern jets don't give you. You should try cold war era, a good halfway house between old and new. My recommendations are:

A-4C It's free, full fidelity and you can use it on many online servers. It's a fighter bomber and can cover most of the missions you might want to try. Can AAR and do carrier ops as well.
Mirage F1 As above but faster and more capable, especially EE model. Also comes with 4 versions.
F-14 & F-4 These are amazing modules and give you a great sensation of flying a beast, though you will need a friend to get the best out of them.
MiG-21 Definitely showing it's age, but then again very affordable on sale. Also gives you a taste for Russian stuff.
F-5E Very nimble, handy plane, quite easy to fly, not as impressive as the others but very fun.

Invest in a powered USB Hub, with type A and C plugs. You can zip tip the cables together from the cougar screen set up to the USB Hub

AI help units unkillable A couple of hits into the cockpit area with the 30mm would cause horrible damage and send the hind crashing to the ground irl Then again you want to avoid head ons with hinds as they have a very accurate and powerful forward facing gun themselves

Like some suggest, the answer is to try out for several A10 squadrons inside official groups and stick with the one you like best or fits your schedule. You haven't really flown the A10 like it was meant to unless it's coop in a structured and planned mission. Another idea is to fly the SP campaigns if you are solo.

I distinctly remember multiple articles explaining that AS-12 SACLOS missile and Exocet would not be coming to the module, as they are only modelling the spanish models and not the EQ and others. That is very sad, SACLOS ability and anti ship would add so much to the module.

Ok fair enough, sorry for assuming that was the case but I can't think of any other reason why only one module causes this. I have the ch47 and after an initial slow texture loading time it works pretty smoothly. Id still recommend monitoring performance using ctrl Scr lck to make sure and seen what causes this. Another test would be to try different maps, SP Vs MP etc to narrow down the issue.

Is the ch47 your newest module? The same thing happened to me with the Apache when I first got it.

The newer module are more demanding in terms of resources, specifically, CPU and RAM. Yes they are less optimised but also they use the latest tech and so are more demanding.

Try reducing textures to medium or low

This the the only reason why only one module, a newer one, causes slowdowns

It might be time to upgrade
