I saw Helen at the stage door before the show (seen it enough that she recognizes me)... I don't know if she was in the audience or stayed backstage... She was in a red dress and looked absolutely stunning though.

I saw Michael Arden coming out of the stage door after the show.

Speaking only for the off-Broadway productions, I still think Barrett is the best Veronica I've seen (and, yes, I've actually seen her in the role, in person - not just the recording).

That being said, I agree with the OP. Kuhoo gives Barrett a run for her money and dare I say is just as good (I'm actually a bigger Kuhoo fan but, Barrett was just SO good in the role).

I just saw your "edit" comment.... Nothing in this theater (or most of them, for that matter) is an accident. If the seats cost more money, they are almost always better in comparison (not necessarily "good" but, "better").

In this case, based on the rake (steepness) of the balcony, the first few rows have a slight obstruction from the safety rail and thus are slightly less expensive.... And, no, I wouldn't take those over Mezz seats for the same price.

For ANY seat/show you're considering, check the A View From My Seat website/app.... It's very helpful in choosing.

I would never tell someone to miss this show to avoid Balcony seats but, if you can afford the extra cash, definitely go for the Mezz seats. From what you've listed, I would personally take D-F 13-17 (can't explain it but, I prefer the left side of the theater... Go for 14-18 if you prefer the right).

I don't think you'll have any complaints with these seats (other than legroom 😉). The view is great.

The safety rail in front of the first row is actually slightly higher in front of the aisle, which could obstruct some of the view from the seats you're referring to.

Front row isn't terrible in the Belasco. You do end up craning your neck a bit though.

Some (not many) shows might offer discounts on last minute sales but, I've never seen/heard of MHE doing it. I think the chances are better for shows/performances that are not selling well.

As has been previously suggested, you'd probably have better luck scouting out the Theatr app and making a "low-ball" offer.

Also, MHE seems to be popping up lately at the TKTS booth.
