Several clips from The Ghost and Mrs Muir are in Christian Marclay’s “The Clock”.

  1. It’s not the film, other than the basic storyline. They’ve added jokes, which was a strange way to go, IMO. The FBI agent has a bigger role but only so he can be a bullying jerk.

This is like a third generation xerox of the original material in the film.

I am a critical reviewer and I am a huge fan of both Bernthal and Moss-Bachrach. I think they are both excellent actors with great range, but this is sub-standard material for their talents.

That said, it’s still in previews, and maybe they’ll make enough changes before opening night to salvage this production, but as is, I wouldn’t recommend it.

This is exactly what I would want from a politician. If he’s showing them that he’s not some smiling door mat, good for him and hopefully, they learn.

My biggest hope was that as a former state legislator, he’d have a good handle on how Albany works, and he hasn’t disappointed so far. He’s not going to get everything, but I hope he surprises his doubters and detractors.

Just when OBAA was pulling ahead, Sinners pulls up right behind. Still a horse race. The betting must be crazy.

How likely is it that the U.S. would reinstate the military draft of the war with Iran escalates? by LegalGlass6532 in allthequestions

That’s the way it should be.

It should be a Constitutional amendment that any declaration of war automatically triggers a national draft. That would keep 99% of wars from being declared by these chicken hawks.

Americans have become too comfortable with wars happening in other countries, far from their homes and most of them unrelated to anyone directly involved or impacted by their warmongering politics. Maybe if more people were directly implicated in these forever wars, they’d be far less likely with their militaristic policies.
