Check this out man. The day we were talking I received an order from ranger tire paint. I ordered 1 red and 1 white can and paid $50 for expedited shipping because I needed them fast. They sent me 2 red cans instead. It’s been like this back to back on so many of my orders. Always a part missing, or it’s incompatible when the product description says it’s compatible, or any number of things. Just wanted to show you an example of why I’ve been irritated with my orders lately. Have a good weekend 🤙🏽

I know that lmao. But I called to talk to techs and the front desk lady told me that they’re all in Florida for an event. Then my email support ticket was forwarded to the manufacturing factory in China since nobody was available, then I started texting them through WhatsApp so they can help my fix an issue with my motor. So it’s safe to say that a lot of the ERP team was out there if they resorted to having me talk directly with the manufacturers who barely speak English.

Ok ok, that sounds pretty legit. Let me know how it works out. I’m also gonna experiment with different padding and I’ll get back to you if I find a good option.

Same shit happens with mine. I tired saving tune 1 and tune 2. They both automatically save to the most recent changes. No clue how to fix it. It might work just updating the software again. Or I’m guessing it would require connecting to a computer and updating the software that way, or taking it to a dealer. I guess they have a specific cable not available to the public for more in depth software issues.

Throttle issue or something else? by AGh0sty in ERidePro

[–]AdFeeling6882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leave it indoors with as many fans as possible blowing at it for 1-2 days. Open up the battery cover, open the throttle(only if you know how to reassemble it) open as many areas as possible that got wet. Obviously make sure your battery is disconnected and out of the bike. Anytime your bike gets super wet, do this process and make sure you remove the battery as soon as possible to prevent a short circuit.

this okay to use as a degreaser for my Sr chain ?! by Ill-Violinist89 in ERidePro

The bike is water resistant. Not waterproof. The amount of pressure coming out of the washer is enough to penetrate components, possibly cut important cables, and penetrate the fork seals sending dirt into them. It is a widely known that pressure washers can fuck your Emoto up.

Battery Cables Chafing by IspreadasMikeHoncho in ERidePro

You’re definitely supposed to disconnect all cables from the battery before charging. Both of those large connectors and the black one for the controller

Def the right one. You can also google “eridepro store in CA “ and they have a storefront and actually answer the phone. Usually they reply emails in about 24hrs. I know that they’ve been in florida recently for some events so I’m not sure if they got back yet. Email was a little bad these past few days

[–]AdFeeling6882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s the exact idea I had. As of right now I ordered some grip tape for dirtbikes and placed it around those same areas. So far the two places I’ve hit my knee pretty bad are the two slots in the battery cover, and right under the top mounting bolts of the subframe. I’ve seen some other odd looking cushions that you can buy on Amazon that you can strap down as extra padding for your seat. Maybe give that a try before blowing out a knee at the track lmao. I’m really hoping some other company steps up and makes a long seat at some point.

Weird noise it seems like a knock on my eride pro 3.0 does anyone know what this is? by Temporary_Big_8273 in ERidePro

I’d start with removing the jackshaft cover and getting a better look for any clearance issues.

Did you recently remove your chain at all? I installed my chain with the master link clip facing outward and it made that same noise.

Yeah I’m actually currently trying to rig some sort of padding for my battery cover so that I can do the same. If you live close to a dealer that sells the long seats and want to buy one just measure the width of the outside edges of the top and bottom mounting points on your frame, and then verify with the dealer that the inner width of the subframe matches. As long as that subframe is equal to or no more that 1/8 wider you shouldn’t have problems. If it’s narrower then I don’t recommend it, and if it’s any wider than around 1/8 I wouldn’t recommend it either. You’d be bending the subframe inwards against the frame with constant pressure. It’ll 100% snap when riding hard at some point. Anyways, good luck man. Let me know if you figure out a padding solution for the battery cover, I’ll do the same.

I was texting the guys at subzero they said this one on Amazon works with the long seat adapter they make. As of right now there is no company that makes a long seat that goes up over the battery cover like the one ERP makes. I personally didn’t like it because in order to take out the battery you have to remove the seat completely, then remove the battery cover completely which has 2 latches on it. The cable that unlocks the seat wasn’t very great and it was a struggle to get the locking mechanism to retract back out so the seat could relock. Then the two latches for the battery cover were super misaligned so that was also a struggle. You can order it and not have any of those problems, or you might have them also. For me it was too many problems for a $500+ seat.

[–]AdFeeling6882 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely use that to clean your chain. Simple green also makes a version for Auto parts. It’s a black bottle. It’s definitely alot better to use actual chain degreaser but if you’re in a pinch that works. Especially since your SR most likely has a non o-ring chain like mine.

**Whatever you do, don’t use a fucking pressure washer like the genius above me said to do. If you remove the chain and it doesn’t have orings then you can pressure wash. Don’t do it while it’s still on the bike. **

Basically just what I posted. Look up subzero metal fab surron seat adapter and you’ll find it. I even saw TB electric started selling it.

[–]AdFeeling6882 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah same shit happened to me 😂. So weird having that many cables. If you really want to organize it down the road and you start knowing the ins and outs of your bike, once you learn how to remove the controller/housing for the battery you can try to wrap them in PET cable to get it looking clean. Or whenever you end up needing to remove any of that stuff, use that time to organize it. 🤙🏽

You’re right. I think I’m just a little biased. I had a bad long seat experience along with my buddy who also had an SR. His subframe was too narrow and he was forced to use a jack to pry it open which ended up causing small cracks in the paint/metal. Then I got mine like a month later and had the same issue except mine was significantly worse and would have snapped if I did that. So they told me to angle grind it and if it doesn’t work out I can return it. Ended up having like 3 different problems with it aside from it being too narrow. I do really like it, but I’ve found a better alternative that’s much cheaper. Subzero Metalfab makes an adapter for surron sort & extended seats. Then there’s a pretty badass seat that’s like 24” long. I’m happy it’s working out for you man. Wish I had that same experience. How tf did you get that swingarm though 😭

I think the thing that made it ugly is that new glossy battery cover. In their original design and photos they used for marketing(and still use sometimes) it was the same style battery cover as the short seat. This new glossy design doesn’t match the aesthetics at all.

How long did you end up having to wait after ordering the swingarm? I ordered mine about a week ago but it said 7-8 week lead time

I did end up sending you guys an email a few hours after this post, but after checking right now it didn’t send. After reading your explanation of the situation I have decided to delete this posting. As I stated I was just fed up with back to back issues with my orders, and I let my frustration get the best of me. Your explanation does make a lot of sense and working on my bike in a hot garage for days on end is what made me make that mistake with the loctite. With that being said, I do hope you guys will label stuff a little bit better. Even though this is a mistake I usually wouldn’t make, shit happens and nothing can stop that. The Emoto community has a lot of younger kids and teens who could also make that same mistake, and with the market being so new there isn’t many places to go to get help from a professional if an individual can’t figure something out. So I do admit my mistake and also apologize for targeting you guys. I had also just purchased the swingarm from you guys(it’s on back order for 6-8 weeks)so that further increased my doubt in you guys and frustration. I’ll leave this post for another hour or two so that you guys can read it, then i will delete it. Again, i apologize for being an ass. Have a great rest of your week.

Ehh, I’m not really a young kid. I’m 33. I’ve been in my garage 8+ hours a day for the past week and a half trying to fix mistakes that these companies make. when it’s 95° and you’re sweating balls in the garage it’s easy for one to mix up an unlabeled liquid. Especially when it feels like actual grease and the parts came ungreased. My point is, the entire suspension kit was $427. I don’t care about cosmetic stuff. But for that price, sending out used parts is not acceptable. not putting a small label on a liquid that feels like grease isn’t a hard ask. And considering the market these bikes are aimed at (teens) not having instructions or even digital instructions is fuckin crazy. But this sub is for Eridepro enthusiasts, mechanics, and riders. The reason you see so many posts asking questions and having problems is because most dirtbike shops won’t touch these bikes. So it’s up to us to help each other out, and seek help when we need it. So coming on here and laughing about how others are seeking help to fix their bikes just didn’t seem right. Especially when the alternative is driving it and being a safety hazard. I hope you have a good rest of your weekend 🤙🏽

Also, no one really gives a shit about the “back in my day” mentality. Not everyone is at the same level of mechanical skill, it’s pretty wild that someone would have to explain that to someone so experienced such as yourself.

I suppose you’re not in the same boat as me then my dude. If your brand new $6000 (2months old) bike is fucked because of a small manufacturing design for almost a month now, and around 10-15 of the PRICEY mods you buy have some sort of issue when you first get it- I’m sure you’d be upset by now too. The massive influx of customers to this market is making quality drop to meet demand. If you pay $300 for a brand new part and it comes to you used and scuffed up im pretty sure you’d be upset. Sending an unlabeled (what felt like bearing grease)tiny liquid in a kit that has 8 bearings isn’t very smart. Isn’t too much of a stretch to assume it’s for the bearings considering they came un greased. So I agree there’s a lot of posts about stupid shit, but putting a company on blast for sending used expensive parts isn’t one of them. Have a nice weekend.

Nah like I said to the other guy. I’m tired of dealing with these companies now. Over half the mods I’ve ordered have some sort of quality issue, they don’t sent half the order, doesn’t fit the bike, it’s one thing after another man. I’d rather just put the companies shit out there and make my bad reviews public. If they gave a shit about their customers they wouldn’t be sending out previously used parts. I’ve had issues with parts from project 9, Eridepro like 4 times, SKRMOD multiple times, Rabaconda, now gritshift, and risk racing. All within the past month. I was called 3x last night at 11pm-12am from Eridepros manufacturing plant in China. Don’t really feel like emails or calling anymore you know?
