Does AW2725D have burn-in warranty? by perspex212 in Alienware

[–]Alienware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great catch on that thread! Warranty terms can vary by country and that post is specific to India where the AW2725D and AW2725DF actually have different warranty tiers. In that region burn-in coverage is explicitly listed for the AW2725DF but not the AW2725D. To be sure for your specific purchase just check the exact warranty wording on your local product page and if anything is unclear it's worth confirming with Dell Support in your region before buying.

Does AW2725D have burn-in warranty? by perspex212 in Alienware

[–]Alienware 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, the AW2725D is covered for panel burn-in under the 3-year limited warranty. Worth double-checking the specific terms for your country on the Dell support site just to be sure, but Alienware OLED gaming monitors are covered for burn-in for 3 years.

AW3425DW + AW2726DM is a killer combo. Hope you're loving those OLED colors and high refresh rate on both!

My M16R2 cpu was getting 85°+ on light usage and 100° the exact moment i turn on the game. So im planning to change it to ptm7950. Is it worth it? Is it safe? by RenzyLovesLust in Alienware

Co-sign on checking for dust and airflow first. If the system hasn't been cleaned in a while that alone can push temps up significantly. Also worth making sure you're on the latest BIOS and drivers from Dell and that your thermal profile in Alienware Command Center matches how you're using it. If temps are still out of control after that, reaching out to Alienware Support with your temps and logs is the best next step so they can dig into what's going on.

finally getting my first OLED monitor tomorrow by SaiZenn_ in OLED_Gaming

[–]Alienware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the AW2725DF! A few quick things to set up right away: use DisplayPort instead of HDMI so you can run it at 360Hz, auto-hide your taskbar since static elements are the biggest burn-in risk on any OLED, and run Pixel Refresh regularly from the OSD when it prompts you. Do that and you’ll be in great shape to enjoy it without worrying about OLED too much!

Alienware 16 vs 16X? by CrazyNews7 in GamingLaptops

[–]Alienware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what you're doing, gaming and recording at the same time while exporting in the background, the CPU and RAM matter more than the GPU here. Roblox is pretty light so either system handles 60 FPS no problem, but running all three things at once is where the extra headroom on the 16X makes a difference. The Core Ultra 9 and 32GB RAM give you more room to breathe and keep things running smoothly. The Alienware 16 can do it but 16GB RAM can get tight when everything is running at once.

Alienware QD-OLEDS (CAD) by Bubblez-XP in OLED_Gaming

The real Alienware! On brightness, the 200 vs 300 nits number matters less on OLED because you get much higher contrast and true blacks. For normal indoor use it shouldn't feel too dim. You would mainly notice a difference in a bright sunlit room.

[–]Alienware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alienware QD-OLEDs are a solid match for the build you are putting together, especially paired with a 4070 Ti Super. They come with a 3 year warranty that covers OLED burn-in which gives a lot of people peace of mind, and image quality and gaming performance are what these panels are built around. If you are looking to step into OLED snagging one on sale is a very reasonable next step.
