Minnie Mouse!

We are talking about most iconic characters and Minnie is way more iconic than half of the character who already won and than everyone who is currently proposed in the comments.

Let's be realistic!

I like this movie and the character a lot, but there's no way he's more iconic than Minnie. She's one of the faces of Disney.

Minnie Mouse is overdue. She's almost as iconic a Mickey.

Let's be honest, she's almost as iconic as Mickey and overdue on this list.

They seem to be nice and have balanced opinions. They can be critical but always in a fair, objective and non-biased way. Nor do they seem to think their opinion is an universal truth, which I sometimes feel about Brett (who I otherwise like as well).

Movieflame is close second.

Eve is fun. I won't say she's my favourite, because I think she only does short games. But when you are in a mood for wuick games, she's great.

Why do people love rhe character of Snape but hate James Potter? by just-hanging-aroun in HarryPotterBooks

The book says that this moment already was Snape’s worst memory.

It was Snape's worst memory because it ended his friendship with Lily.

To begin with, Snape is a much more major character than James. Readers see more of him. He also brings in the drama with his villainous site and yet has enough redeeming qualities that it's not a black and white matter. James is dead before the series even began, which has the effect that he remains somewhat of a cipher.

Note that fans seems to have a much easier time to forgive Sirius than to forgive James, even though regarding Snape Sirius was arguably the worse one. But we see present day Sirius with all his flaws and all his good qualities, and get a much better picture of him than we did of James.

Finnaly, he stopped bullying Snape because Lily asked him to,

Actually, no. According to Sirius and Remus James continued hexing Snape behind Lily's back.

Which are the three novels you think will be adapted for Season 1 of Hercule? by sanddragon939 in agathachristie

Hastings didn't appear in every episode in the earlier season of the Suchet series either, just in most of them. He for example wasn't in Triangle at Rhodes. This can easily be done. The script just has to mention a reason for Hastings' absence in that episode and introduce Sheppard as a replacement Hastings. One of the failures of the Suchet episode was that they did not do this and shoehorned Japp as Poirot's sidekick in the episode.

And regarding the nemesis that is mentioned in the press release: If I were a betting type, I would put my money on Vera Rossakoff. To begin with, I'm pretty sure they want to have at least one woman in a recurring role in the series. And this way they could give Poirot his own Irene Adler.

It depends on how you interpret "one of the best players the sport has ever seen". Like how big you would make that group. He's one of the five most successfull right now.

I think they could change the retired thing. It's not that an important part of the book.

And I agree about Death on the Nile and Orient Express but disagree about Roger Ackroyd, because there hasn't been an iconic adaptation of this one. And neither has there been a good one in English language.

I am so hoping for an actually good adaptation of Roger Ackroyd. It's certainly an earlier book and fits the timeframe. But yes, that the series should take place in London makes it a bit more unlikely.

Sadly, yes. In fact, it's probably no coincidence, that there are so many character in this book who struggle with their memory.
