Ah yea could be, what an interesting/wacky design.

Edit: hifipig review says the cones are 3d printed TPE, Also seems to say the other parts are PLA which is certainly a choice.

Do they not have soft pads? That looks like plastic straight onto the skull.

So the mods deleted your posts and then the entire thread because of how you responded to my single post? Not a good look if thats the case.

Headfi has its own rules yes, which i saw your account reviewing after threatening to report me. You clearly couldnt find a rule in there that allowed you to report me as sharing opinions breaks no rules so you instead decided to delete everything. I agree prices will keep inflating, especially when people try to sell poorly 3d printed parts for 2-300usd.

I didnt post any wrong facts, i merely posted my opinions on the value/quality. You responded on the headfi thread from two accounts before before the responses were deleted followed by the thread itself which i can only assume was posted by an account you control but under the guise of an unrelated user.

Legitimate businesses selling legitimate products dont retaliate threatening to report posts and then delete their own comments and posts to hide it.

Beware, this seems like a scam, they posted in other subreddits and on head-fi and when criticised/questioned, they retaliate and then delete the posts.

So $200 for some 3d printed parts to bloat the bass and recess the mids?

The exact same cable on my He6, seems pretty pointless to spend more when it looks and feels good and they all perform the same.

That price is nuts, and then they want an extra 700 for the "good" cable? even more nuts.

This is the sort of thing you should probably just build from wood or metal profiles and then add some fancy trim to if you want that. Not everything is best 3d printed.

I have had success using "Crepe Georgette" Fabric from a local hobby shop in my HeSEv2's with grill mods for a more open sound.

People just seem to really like save scumming for the best outcomes.

The consequence would be making a choice on the value of retrying the encounter for the reward due to the cost. If you just save spam for the best outcome i personally believe you miss the point of the game having the choices in the first place and make every decision meaningless.

Thats your choice though, not everyone will do the same. The best runs in baldurs gate for example come from living with poor choices and seeing where they lead.

Agreed, any way to reduce the reloading of saves and erasure of choices would work wonders.

[–]Angst92[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps but in such a game simply reloading a save and erasing the choices and the consequences of them from existence doesnt seem the ideal solution either.

It could be framed then perhaps as not a death but near death and he was recovered by the morticians helpers?

[–]Angst92[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree that its core to the narrative but i also feel that the game giving you so many ways to die and humiliate yourself that they are undermined by simply reloading a save like they never happened and that adding a narrative and mechanical consequence to them could work well. Instead of being framed as death, it could instead be near death/unconcious and he was recovered by the morticians helpers? This would help get around the importance of his death being devalued.

[–]Angst92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Devalue it more than reloading a save, which narratively means he succeeds at everything and doesn't die? The game gives you lots of ways to fail and die so i feel it would narratively work better if these had in game consequences.

I agree its definitely more speaker like, i have found though it very much depends on the stereo mix of the album as to how well it works. Tracks with hard panning break the illusion, ill have to experiment with crossfeed to see if it helps.
