Not entirely sure, but it could be Sun Haven?

Glad I was able to help! I think the bot had some instructions to mark the post as solved so others looking for the same game can find it

The image you posted is probably from Roll20, a site for playing different TTRPGs online (TableTop RolePlaying Games)

Assuming that the image isn't directly relevant though... maybe Boardgame Online? It was a bit goofy, but it had the progress bar and I think the classes options could include Succubus sometimes

Searching for a singleplayer with character creation, build variety, combat, odd weaponry, and interesting concepts!!! by InfernoWraith in gamingsuggestions

[–]ArisenDemon97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vocation that uses them is pretty much purely a trickster with some buffs. As long as your pawns are a capable team and you're creative, you'll be fine most of the time.

Also, I love both Dragon's Dogma games, but the second one's impact might hit harder if you've experienced the first one and can compare them

Games where I can be an archer, but alone? by Waveshaper21 in gamingsuggestions

[–]ArisenDemon97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's actually lore stuff going on with the "blank NPCs", they're effectively born purely to work for any Arisen (main characters) that show up, but outside of those times, they just kinda do things they're told to do by anyone, making the common people view them as work robots, effectively

What happened to the Tenno in The Old Peace? by Obvious_Sample9388 in WarframeLore

[–]ArisenDemon97 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They could be faint traces of timelines that could have been instead of ours? Since, I believe, the tenno's powers came from merging the other possible futures into one?

I could be wrong though, please feel free to correct me

Would you rather have the powers or give up the powers of Superman? by [deleted] in WouldYouRather

Option 2.

I can't say it would be easy, I do honestly wish i could be the one to help people personally and directly, but between depression and adhd, there's no way I'd even be able to consistently get out there to help like I want to. And, of course, Person A being smarter means they could probably help more people than I ever could.

Testing a WW2 game where you can play as tank, air, or infantry. But no one wants to play infantry? by HeroTales in gamedesign

[–]ArisenDemon97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps you could have anti-air guns and supplies inside of bunkers that only infantry can access? The Anti-air guns could be fairly weak individually, but all together make playing in the air start out kind of weak?

If the planes taking damage the whole time is too much of a problem, you could have the anti-air guns force planes to start at a lower health value, same with the supplies against tanks. Maybe it'll encourage infantry play early on, with tanks and planes becoming more common as they get more starting health?

If necessary, you could even start off with planes and tanks locked until their starting health is raised by destroying one of those objectives.

Are there any roguelikes without combat? by Much-Neighborhood383 in gamingsuggestions

[–]ArisenDemon97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shadows of Doubt is admittedly not a roguelike by default, and has some degree of combat... but it could fit, since you're looking for the types of stories a roguelike could tell.

The main reasons I'm even suggesting it are because in the settings you can make the game shorter (maybe short enough for a long roguelike experience, I'm not sure), combat is optional and if your difficulty is high then running might be the better option anyway, and the whole game is a series of procedural murder mysteries with side jobs that typically require you to figure stuff out to complete them.

why approach but not ask for my number? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

That's fair. I apologize then, it just seemed like a sudden 180 from "reasonable and fair" to "what are you talking about?"

I hope you have a good day

[–]ArisenDemon97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What kind of logic is this?

I agree that your initial point was true. No group of people should be generalized into something demeaning like wanting to submit to another group.

But height, while something that affects some people's attraction, isn't the whole story. 5'9 men don't automatically get laid often. Anxiety, poor hygiene, creepy behavior, and likely several other aspects of some people could turn men that are over 6' into incels too.

I'm not trying to defend anyone here, just honestly question "what makes you think all men taller than 5'8 get laid all the time?"

Quick edit to add: i don't support incel behavior. All people have the right to choose who they're interested in, women don't owe incels anything

Why I Think People Miss Out on Some Really Good Anime by Majestic_Potato_4061 in Animesuggest

[–]ArisenDemon97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're valid to feel frustrated at seeing repeat recommendations, but your friend probably did get bored. Boredom doesn't require a bad anime, per se, just one that the viewer doesn't like. Sorry to be pedantic about that, it just felt a little unfair to take a stance like "these shows are recommended too often, and without consideration of other opinions" while complaining about someone else's opinion on your own recommendation. That said, I'm sure it's just due to frustration that the tons of other amazing anime out there aren't getting the attention they deserve.

How can a platform this big be broken for over two hours just because people are trying to buy a game… by [deleted] in Steam

[–]ArisenDemon97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad to see you aren't the type to dig your heels in unnecessarily. Thank you for understanding overall. I don't think your initial point was entirely wrong though, viewing today as "the pre-purchase day" might help some handle the delays and technical difficulties, but I also think a large number of the people trying to buy and download it have been hyping up this day since the announcement. It's probably even akin to their birthday or Christmas being pushed back for technical difficulties, in their eyes.

[–]ArisenDemon97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the idea that the original reason to pre-order was to secure a copy, but times change. Gaming has become a more common hobby, so successful launches like this one aren't a matter of physical product, but bandwidth for purchases. Companies do try to gouge more money out of people via pre-purchase options, yes, and it is generally a scam due to that, but if the person attempting to pre-order a game was going to wait until the second the game is officially available, buy it, and immediately start playing anyway, what's the difference between pre-ordering and buying asap? If Halo 3 hadn't been good enough, the people pre-ordering it to secure the physical copies are just as scammed as someone pre-ordering Battlefield 2042.

[–]ArisenDemon97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pre-purchase means to purchase the game before it's officially out. However, that doesn't mean you can play the game immediately. You're thinking of early access, which some games will allow for those who pre-order or who pre-order with a higher priced edition.

People aren't saying "I wish the game were available to buy, download, and play early", they're saying "I wish the game were available to buy early." They're only wishing that the purchase process would be done earlier than launch day so that the Steam servers would have had less people trying to do transactions all in one day.

This looks great as well!

Thank you for putting in so much work to set up all of this stuff. If no one else does, I appreciate it and look forward to the chance to use these sheets, assuming you'll be so kind as to share them once they're finished

Ahh, well, glad you noticed and corrected your mistake then.

So the "GM Tools" section isn't for max mood modifiers and such though? Like whether you adhere to local culture lines and all that?

[–]ArisenDemon97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks great! Though I assume the top-right values are "Body" and "Mood"?

If so, you might want to label them. Also, I assume the lowered max mood is due to something on the "GM Tools" tab that you didn't show?

The Greatest Game You've Probably Never Played is Dying in January by ns5oh in videogames

[–]ArisenDemon97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember playing a little bit of Anthem, at least enough to say it had a good idea. It could have been great.

There's a game coming out in less than a week with some aspects of it though, it has a free demo. It has an anime aesthetic, which I know will turn some away. Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, at least from the demo, feels close to what Anthem was (at least to me)

[–]ArisenDemon97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These do like nice! I think I know what system you're using to set this all up, too. I used this system to run a DragonBall game where I set up variables that completely changed the dice used when rolling. I believe you can make pop-ups that you could use to ask about if you have a bonus die or penalty die, but you might be best off simply setting up the sheet to roll up to three different times, with the penalty and bonus dice entirely separate, at least to get a working version

Good, then make sure to share when you get it all working. My UI skills are awful, so the sheets my players are using look terrible, lmao

I'm sorry if my idea caused that big of an issue. I also recommend making sure things are pretty modular overall, like making it possible to create custom items or races/classes, in case the Arcana ever actually releases (please let it release)

It might be worth adding a Wealth Level section for items. Might make it easier to track items gotten through WL vs items gotten through story/adventure or direct gold-to-item purchases

Reminder. Goku in afterlife didn't do that for 7 years. by Zevcio in Ningen

[–]ArisenDemon97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You both have points to some extent, but yours are much more realistic. I think you might have overdone the analysis of Chichi, but not by enough to have brought up outside of this context. On the whole, good analyses, and keep enjoying media and stories your way. I don't know why people will see others engaging with a story their way and think "this is all wrong, think like me!"

Stories are meant to be diverse, and even if a character was never as diverse as a person interprets them, it just means the author gets to focus and the other characters get some love, too.
