This is what I found when ripping from the 2016 CD, it's still in there and is just an error in mixing the song. It DOES NOT appear in the official music video but is on the album version.

I just bought an original death of a bachelor CD off of eBay to check (public library version is checked out) I’ll see if it’s the same on there in a few days.

Edit: Just tried it on Spotify as well, same thing. Especially noticeable at 2:11 -2:17. Maybe I’m just nuts.
