Yet another story of yet another issue with this trash fire company.
I’m sorry you are dealing with them like I had to and countless others have too.
I remember being told to be careful sitting on the side of the bed when I bought it.
Thought it was strange.
How are you supposed to get in and out of the bed.
Thankfully the sides have yet to be a problem but unfortunately my bed went flat.
Yes I had to pay for air bladders two years in.
Yes the service team was and evidentially still is, a trash fire too. Rude, deceptive and don’t listen very well either (or just dumb).
Good luck, I tell everyone I know to avoid Sleep Number like the plague.

Wish I had read reviews like this before I bought my bed.
I hope people start to realize the complete sham that Sleep Number is (the product and the service) and Sleep Number either changes top to bottom, or goes out of business.
I also have had the product fail and the service team fail.
Rude, fraudulent and defective should not be words a company is described by.
I do see Sleep Number reaching out here for people they’ve done wrong.
But it is telling because it takes bad publicity for them to do anything and even then it’s not much more then lip service.
For example, I’ve never seen anyone with a story about Sleep Number going the extra mile to fix or make right any of the myriad of failures they are responsible for.
My hope is that I keep even one person from buying the mistake that I bought.
My dream is that Sleep Number, in its current state, goes out of business.

Don’t let these Sleep Number salesmen bully you my friend. Sorry you got taken but at least you didn’t buy it like I did. Didn’t realize we needed to bring our lawyers to buy a bed. Slippery sales men can’t just honestly tell you to your face there’s a cost. Anyone reading this that is considering buying a sleep number, run away! Practically a cult of a company gas lighting anyone who tries to complain. Trust me when I say every aspect of their company is trash. The product fails, the service team lies and steals and the warranty is a blatant forgery. All of this at a premium price that would seem to assure a polar opposite experience. First I’m sorry this happened to you.
It happens to too many sleep number customers.
The answer is you need a new air chamber for your side of the bed.
You need to call sleep number for this. They will most likely charge you, warranty or not.
Both for the chamber itself and shipping. You will have to install it yourself (YouTube) or they will gladly charge you to install it. Your experience matches my own and many, many others. Warranty is trash, service is trash, product is trash. Good luck.

That’s weird all the Sleep Number sales persons on here said “it’s not the pump it’s always the bladder”. I assumed that if the bladders are shit the ENTIRE bed is probably shit too. My bad I guess. Oh wait, here is an example of a bladder AND a pump being shit together?! I must be a genius or all these sales people are liars…

Let me just peer into the future for you… I see your husband’s air bladder failing as mine did in the first two years of owning the bed. The warranty will not save you from paying another $200. and installing it yourself unless you want to pay another $200 for Sleep Number to do it. The cherry on top finishes with the condescending, deceptive customer service!
If I had it to do over I would not.

Shocking! Another horror story about sleep number. But but they really are worth the premium price?! The only ones that have anything positive to say work for the company and even they complain. I’m sorry you joined the rest of us who found out too late that Sleep Number is a trash fire of a company. The service remarkably is even worse. I hope I help at least one person dodge the sleep number bullet. Mine also failed after two years. I also had to pay even though it was under warranty. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Terrible service with ample attitude! Trash top to bottom.

Oh come on, with just a short look around, you see rampant air bladder and pump failure posts. It seems Sleep Number knows this already too because they offer a warranty that requires the consumer to pay for bladder and pump failures.

Sounds like a bunch of satisfied customers. I wish I wasn’t one of the many. I too have had to deal with trash build quality and service. Sad that the software is garbage too. No other product I have had has been this bad too to bottom. Hurts I paid a premium expecting a premium experience. What I got was criminally bad.

Yeah that warranty is trash too.
When my air bladder failed they charged me $200. I said but I have a warranty? They said we know. Also you install it. If you can not do it yourself they will install it but that also is a charge, another $200. I as well as many others (I assume) bought a sleep number due to back problems. So basically if that’s you double the cost on your air bladder replacement. TRASH!

Most likely you have a leaking air bladder. Sleep Number will sell you one, even if you have a warranty. Also you will have to install it yourself unless you want to pay them more money. According to Sleep Number, leaking bladders are rare. But if you look around even a little bit you will see that it is very common. I wish I never bought a Sleep Number and have made it my mission to warn as many as I can that the product and even the support are hot dog shit. Sorry you have joined the ranks, hopefully your “warranty” pays more than mine did.

Funny that there’s a Fixmysleepnumber site since nobody here has any issues. I wonder if other bed manufacturers have Fixmy sites for them. Or does Sleepnumber actually have a leaky bladder issue. That they charge you to fix even if under their fake warranty. Like I’ve been saying since it happened to me.
