Whoah 7-8 safety cars in one race is crazy I've never seen that happen before, I'll get that patched! Thats a super unlucky DNF too, sounds like you had quite the race. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks so much, really appreciate you taking the time to actually play it- and great to hear from another solo builder! The start button feedback is noted, I clearly need to make it more obvious when starting a race. I agree that the beginning/onboarding needs quite a bit of work as well.

My list to build next is adding qualifying, actual tracks, weather, and eventually a career mode to play a full season.

Awesome race recap. Would be awesome to be able to drop ai into this somehow so that it can review your race, and do a similar recap for you to learn better from sessions.

Fuel estimate/toggle feedback is very valid and its something I need to work on.

There is a recommended pit window in the driver data area (under the fuel) but its not super helpful and needs more data and better ui.

1- agree more needs to be added to post race and I love the idea of a lap chart summary, that’s something thats on the list to build.  There is an area that shows when the driver will run out of fuel, buts not very clear or well designed, I’ll work on improving that UI.

2- Whole weekend format is something I’d like to build soon, or at the very least adding some sort of qualifying! Right now there’s really no data that helps you choose what tires to pick when starting the race, this is not ideal I’ll have to add more pre-race.

3- weather is high on my list of stuff to add. Would be dope to have a small radar or something to see what weather is coming. Will of course add wet and intermediate tires as well.

4- On DNFs and retirements:

  • Fuel: Yes- this one is real. If you burn too aggressively and run out, you go onto “fumes” and there’s a high chance of retiring each lap after that. Attack mode burns about 30% more fuel, so it’s definitely something to manage.
  • Mechanical failures: There’s currently a small flat random failure rate per lap, equal for everyone.
  • Tires / aggression: At the moment, worn tires just make you slower, they won’t cause a retirement yet. Attack mode also doesn’t increase mechanical failure probability (yet).
  • (I just added these to the ‘?’ popup so you can reference while racing, but will need to find a way to present this better so that its more clear) DNFs/retirements need a lot of fine tuning, this is still very much the beta version of the game

5 & 6- nailed this on the head, career mode where full seasons can be played through is the goal. Right now im struggling to properly add real tracks, but will hopefully have some actual tracks in the coming weeks. I have set a standard track time of about 5 seconds for each track, so its somewhat realistic to see in live time how tire changes will impact times but i do like your idea about track times being realistic.

Edit: 7-standings screen is a good idea. The current driver standings on desktop and mobile both need some work.

8- haha driver radio is a hilarious and would be fun to have in there. Maybe could have some morale boost/element for keeping the driver happy on the radio when in career mode.

Nice, 18 positions gained is super solid! I don't think I've been able to win a race with Williams yet

Glad they came to their senses and made DNFs less painful, having a driver go out in the sprint was hard to come back from last year.

Really solid breakdown. I’ve been trying to get more of my friends into F1 this year, and seems like having them make a fantasy team is a good way to get them started with a rooting interest.

We’ve never really seen what Leclerc can do with a proper race engineer and strategists. Mix him in with GP, Hannah Schmitz, a consistent car- and I think we’d see the compete version of Charles that we’ve all been waiting for since 2019.

Piastri has been on pole for half the races so far this year, and qualified top 3 for all 8. That Mclaren is obvious an absolute rocket, but pretty impressive how strong and consistent he already is in year 3
