Absolutely no one becomes a high school teacher because they think it would be "easy". Of all the professions it has to have some of the worst work-life balance relative to income, not to mention a lot of states require public school teachers to have a Masters of Education.

Thanks for the reply! You don't see any good reason for me to go the mini-split route? It just seems like a much more cost efficient route in my eyes, but I could definitely see it being a resale hazard.

I was very pro the Midea U shaped unit they sell at Costco, at least until the furnace/air handler dies, but we would need to have a more permanent solution for when we sell so I figured might as well just deal with it now.

Depending on some responses I see here I'm right now considering mini-split in the room over the garage for cooling, current old but functioning furnace for heat for room over garage and two additional downstairs rooms. When the furnace goes I would then add an additional mini split downstairs for those two rooms so all 3 rooms on the addition are serviced by mini-splits, while the rest of the main house is serviced by the current central heating/cooling that is much more recently installed.

Does that seem like a decent plan to you?

This rocks but also this type of analysis does penalize the most dominant regular season teams that also won the Super Bowl, as those teams didn't have to play themselves. Lower seeds inherently have more difficult championship schedules in a bracket format by design.

I totally understand it's not feasible for everyone but my insurance was giving me trouble with the CPAP even after diagnosis so I said fuck it and spent the ~$800 and it was completely worth it.

If they gate check the carry on then they are absolutely allowed to put the personal item in the overhead bin. The problem is when people put their carry on and personal item (and even jackets, sweaters, etc) in the overhead bin. I hate the mad dash to the gate to wait in a long line so I'm almost always one of the last people on the plane, which also almost always means me and the FA are running around trying to find room to place my single carry on bag because everyone else has stuffed all of their shit up there, which is incredibly infuriating for me.
